Course Overview
This two-day, instructor-led SAFe® for Teams course (delivered in person or live online) prepares Agile team members to work effectively within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Tuition includes access to SAFe Studio resources and the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) certification exam. Participants learn how to collaborate across teams, plan and execute iterations, manage dependencies, and deliver value within a coordinated enterprise environment. The course focuses on applying Scrum and Kanban practices, maintaining built-in quality, and supporting continuous improvement to enable predictable, aligned delivery at scale. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand how Agile teams operate within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at an enterprise level
- Recognize the roles, responsibilities, and interactions that support coordinated team delivery
- Gain familiarity with planning and executing work in an iterative environment
- Understand how teams collaborate to manage dependencies and support shared outcomes
- Identify approaches that support quality, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Develop awareness of how team activities align to broader program and organizational goals

Exam Information
Exam name: SAFe® 6 Practitioner Exam
Exam format: Multiple choice (one answer) or multiple select (2-3 answers)
Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
Exam access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe® for Teams course
Exam duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam
Number of questions: 45
Passing score: 35 out of 45 (77%)
Retake policy: Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
