Course Overview

This one-day course develops the essential skill of adaptability for today’s fast-changing workplace. Participants will learn to think and respond flexibly amid shifting priorities, challenges, and organizational change. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and simulations, learners will explore the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions of adaptability and how they impact effectiveness. The course emphasizes cultivating an adaptable mindset, communicating under pressure, leading through uncertainty, and building resilient, adaptive teams. Participants will complete the program with a personalized plan to strengthen and apply adaptability in their daily work. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Define adaptability and explain its importance in managing change and maintaining performance.
• Recognize the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of adaptability.
• Assess personal adaptability tendencies and identify areas for growth.
• Differentiate between fixed and growth mindsets and apply reframing techniques to challenges.
• Demonstrate adaptable thinking and communication in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
• Apply adaptive leadership principles to influence and support others during change.
• Use the ACT model (Assess, Choose, Take action) for effective decision-making under uncertainty.
• Identify and overcome personal and organizational barriers to adaptability.
• Build and contribute to adaptive, resilient teams that thrive in changing environments.
• Develop a personal action plan to strengthen and sustain adaptability at work.
